Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has granted bail to an accused of sexual harassment, on a strange condition, he would visit the complainant on Rakshabandhan day and with a box of sweets and request her to tie a Rakhi, also give a sum of Rs 11,000 to her as a gift as a part of the custom, as per the order.

Madhya Pradesh High Court asks accused to request the victim to tie him a rakhi

Hindustan Times reported: "Madhya Pradesh High Court’s Indore bench granted bail to an accused of sexual harassment on a condition that he would visit the complainant on the day of Rakshabandhan with a box of sweets and request her to tie a Rakhi on his hand while he would promise to protect her and also give a sum of Rs 11,000 to her as a gift as a part of the custom, as per the order.

The court, through its order passed on Thursday, granted bail to the accused on the furnishing of a personal bond of Rs 50,000 with one solvent surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial court, as per the order."
