New Delhi: Gmail is reportedly down in India. On Thursday, several users from India complained that they could not log in, send emails or upload attachments. Users have been complaining about not being able to send mail or attach files for the past hour.
DownDetector.com reports that this problem affects not only people in India but most parts of the world, including Australia and Japan.
59% are unable to attach files while 28% are unable to login. 12% do not receive messages. Google and its technical team have begun an investigation into the issue. The problem started around 10 am.
This is the second time in two months that Gmail has reported problems. In July, users complained that they could not log in to their mail account. The issue was resolved at the time, but Google did not say why.
