New Delhi: Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in a Clash with Chinese troops at Galwan Valley in Ladakh. India blamed the clashes on "an attempt by the Chinese side to unilaterally change the status quo there", but China claims that Indian soldiers crossed the border.

News agency ANI claimed that sources had confirmed 43 Chinese soldiers have been killed or seriously injured because of intercepts, though the army's statement did not refer to this.

At least 20 soldiers of the Indian Army have reportedly died in "violent clashes" with Chinese soldiers at Galwan Valley in Ladakh, amid Indo-China standoff along LAC. Casualty on the Chinese side is not known yet.
